Custom App Development
At Zwiffer, we know apps best. Having worked on dozens of different apps, we know how to do the job right. We will take you through our entire process of app design. Take a look below.
Our Process
Blueprint Phase:
The Blueprint phase is where we work with you to design what the app will do and what it will look like. Creating an app is an investment, and you should know what you’re getting from the beginning. You will receive a customized design with exact specifications of what your app will do, what it will look like, and what devices and software it will work on. The key part is the details, and that is what separates an app from an extraordinary app. This phase gets the client and Zwiffer on track, so everything goes according to the Blueprint we decide upon together. No mistakes, and no unwanted surprises.
Examples of questions answered in a Blueprint: What will the login screen look like? How will the app communicate with your server? Will the data be saved to the device?

Engineering Phase:
Writing the code and designing your app is where we really work in our talents. We keep you updated with constant progress on what has been completed, and what still needs to be completed. We feel that you really need to be included in this phase, so we use the new enterprise distribution provided by Apple in iOS4 to easily share what we have done with you.
What to expect during the Engineering Phase: E-mail of daily changes, including “Designed Login screen, needs to be attached to Enterprise server” or “Enabled Data Save using Core Data”. With the AGILE approach that Zwiffer uses, you are constantly seeing your app improve from week to week. If there is something that you are not happy with, it can be changed right away, so there are not tons of changes at the end of the project.
Refresh Phase:
You now have a great app that you are happy with. However, technology is always advancing and changing. New features arrive, and you want your app to take advantage of them. Maybe you had a great idea of something else that would completely change your app, and you know it will be great. We want to help you build it, and we will build it right. Time to refresh.
Examples of things to refresh: iPad Version, Support for new iOS5 features and more.
